The new band ripping up London venues with its own brand of sleazy electro, dub flavour rock. Hitting hard with an undeniable raw energy, powerful melodies, and a sound that’s louder than a plane crash - musicians from all corners of London have come together to form the collective. Songs with a political message, neo-social commentary, and just out & out, head down crowd rockers. Their rabble rousing electro, adrenaline inducing rock fusion sets them apart from the crowd, smashing both the live music and club scenes. Where man and machine coincide, where technology meets nature, wrapped around each other in a seamless fusion that will stir movement in the most purist of chin-strokers. Created from the notion that there should be no separation between guitars and synths, live drums and machines, because the future is at hand.

Ill Audio began its life just under a year ago. An all star collective of musicians from different worlds within music were approached, pieced together by upcoming producer Rob Blake. Working on a hybrid sound blending electronica with rock, dub, metal & funk. A supercharged sonic wall made for the dancefloor, but with enough musicality to carry across into the live arena. When the sound had been distilled into its purest, most true form, the project became fully live. Disregarding all need for backing tracks used by imitation ‘live’ dance groups, they started using technology in a way that had previously never been done before- and have begun an assault on UK audiences.

Having recently remixed Chris Blackwell’s new signing ‘Laid Blak’, rumours of Muse & Jimi Hendrix reworks, along with an album nearing completion, a controversial, political new music video & a must see live show, the band are set for big things in 2008.
